March 2019

Our 1963 Austin Healey has now sold to a delighted new owner in Lincolnshire, which means we can now turn our full attention to the next car in preparation for sale – our stunning 1986 BMW M3.  The E30 M3 is a genuine benchmark performance car of the 1980’s and authentic, original cars such as this one are very rare indeed.  It’s completely ‘factory’ in specification and appearance and is beautifully unspoiled.  It’s a very early AK05 European specification model, left hand drive of course, having covered less than 120,000 KMS from new.  Everything about this car makes us smile, from the crisp interior, complete with untouched cloth trim to its period perfect 181 Diamond Black paintwork.  Never accident damaged and having lived its whole life in a salt free climate, it has never seen any corrosion and is one of the most untouched, factory correct examples in existence.  If you dreamed of owning an M3 in 1986 and missed your opportunity back then, please get in touch, as this car really is very special and we doubt you’ll find another in such gorgeous condition this side of £80k, but as we’re not based in London, with a super sexy showroom and a trendy sales manager with a double barrelled surname and a Hoxton beard, you won’t have to pay quite that…

Also in preparation is the perhaps the best original R107 SL in the UK. Imagine walking into an authorised Mercedes Benz dealership back in 1990 and our car is exactly what you would have found – very lightly used, but still essentially factory fresh.  It’s not some concours show queen that’s never seen a spec of dust, having lived its life in a hermetically sealed environment, but an authentic, original, untouched car that’s in genuinely mint condition and absolutely ‘right’ in every way.  Before you view it, we’d urge you to look at others – in fact, go and look at all of them first! We considered passing it onto an SL specialist, who openly admitted that it’s an £80k car in their showroom, so save yourself a useful amount when you buy it from us at £64,995; possibly enough for a nice R129 to sit alongside it too!  A genuine benchmark car in terms of originality and quite unrepeatable. Summer is coming, so SL prices will be on the rise.  This is the ultimate R107!

And if that magnificent 80’s pairing isn’t enough, then we’re also in discussions to market a 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth that’s covered considerably less than 15,000 miles from new; quite possibly the lowest mileage example on the planet. And finally, if like us you love the high performance BMW’s of the 1980’s, then be sure to check into our blog regularly, as have the ultimate example of the rarest Alpina super coupe coming our way very soon.  This car is significant and will have Alpina collectors worldwide positively foaming at the mouth, as any example that comes up for sale is a true event – look out for teaser pictures coming soon, but just to whet the appetite, it’s a B7S Turbo Coupe…

Updates and photographs of all the above cars will follow shortly.  Please register your interest in any of these vehicles with us to avoid disappointment.
