Original 1927 RF60 registration document and accompanying continuation buff log book, detailing a complete ownership trail through the years since this Motor Car was new.

Launched on 1st October 1926 for the 1927 model year, the 14/40hp was a medium sized quality saloon, featuring a 2050cc inlet over exhaust 4-cylinder engine, which was essentially a scaled down version of the larger 6-cylinder 3075cc 20/55 model.

Just 2,240 examples of the 14/40hp were produced by the Humber Road factory between 1926 and 1929. With a bore of 75mm and stroke of 116mm, the engine delivered good torque, being a traditional long-stroke motor with a top speed of 60 mph.
