RH Classics

The team at RH Classics did an amazing job on my E type. I never dreamt that it would end up in the motoring press when it was advertised for sale, let alone with the caption “when only the best will do”. The quality of RH Classics work really is second to none.

I was introduced to RH Classics at the Silverstone Classic race meeting and having seen how well they had restored two Lotus 6 race cars I decided to use them to maintain my Caterham 7. They have undertaken a number of jobs, from basic servicing through to restoration and upgrades; all done to a very high standard and providing excellent value for money. I would happily recommend RH Classics.

I’ve was a customer of RH Classics for 15 years, initially looked after by Barry, who rebuilt my 3.4 litre Mk 1 Jaguar. Following the rebuild, the oil pump failed due to a manufacturing defect; Barry took the car back and rebuilt the engine without question. This was my first experience of RH; since then, Rich has immaculately looked after all my cars; Aston’s , 911’s, E Types, Mk 1,2 and 7 Jaguar’s and more recently a pair of Cobra’s. RH’s work ethic, integrity and attention to detail is just what you’d hope for (but rarely see) in an old car specialist. Such was my regard for RH, I was privileged to join the team in November 2019.

Needless to say, I’ve been missing my car, but I know it’s being extremely well cared for at RH Classics’ secure vehicle storage facility. My 1989 BMW 320i Convertible is safe and well among a variety of other cherished cars, all far rarer and more valuable than mine. When I called in to visit, it started on the button and looked immaculate: peace of mind assured.

I am a new customer of RH Classics and have been absolutely delighted with their service. I was lucky enough to purchase a 2008 Aston Vantage V8 from them in absolutely immaculate condition, shown to me by Lee Marshall who took me through the history of the car in detail. The test drive was a joy and I’ve been thrilled with it since. Post sales RH have been very attentive, they really look after their customers for the long term. They love their cars and customers and it shows. I highly recommend them.
